My house gets terrible over-the-air antenna reception. It drove me crazy trying to watch TV that was always glitching. I decided to put one quality antenna in the attic and split that signal to all of the coax lines in my house using this splitter. Now I have perfect HD quality broadcast TV in every room of my house without the need for separate antennas for each TV.

Lots of talk about signal loss when using a multi splitter. I combined this with a Clearstream uhf/vhf antenna and have great signal and clear picture on multiple TVs with no signal interruption on any of them. My signals are 35-55 miles away. Great splitter!

Installed where all of my cable tv lines homerun in the basement. Works perfectly. Great picture on all tv's. I was concerned that the picture quality would deteriorate with all of the tv's connected, but I get a very high quality signal throughout my home.

Getting rid of Directv, switched cables from satellite multiswitch to this each tv works great from antenna. No stars for tech support, IT WAS NOT NEEDED.

Save your time and money. I ordered a Leviton splitter, but was delivered a no name cheaply made Chinese splitterThe splitter I received appeared to be cheaply made As an example, the back plate was with non professional weld joints. with non professional welding, The metal seams of the splitter are uneven. and there are gaps in the seams. Also the plating on the product patchy.

I ran twin coax cables to locations all over my home. I used two of these with my FrontierTV FIOS service. No apparent signal loss with great picture quality. To make it work with my FrontierTV, I ran the coax outbound from my ONT (the big white box where the fiber optic enters my home) to the “In” side of a two stage splitter. Then, one coax from the “Out” of my two way splitter to the coax connection on my Frontier router and then the other coax “Out” of my two way splitter to the “In” port of this splitter. Then from this splitter out to my TV’s. Frontier says I had to do it this way to make my DVR and programming work correctly. It worked perfectly. One note: I tried running my TV’s through a Leviton powered splitter in my structured panel. Didn’t work correctly. Very poor picture quality. Also, this is much less expensive than a powered splitter.

Functions well. Splits a single TV antenna signal to provide local broadcast TV reception to up to 8 television receivers. It isn't very pretty (thus the 4 stars) but mounted on a distribution board in a central closet it does what it needs to, and the cables obscure it anyway.
