This switch when installed doesn’t fall apart like some other switches do. Works great unlike twist switches I have in other lamps.

I had purchased an imported PLASTIC socket locally that cracked while I was installing it. Solution was a good metal Leviton. The cardboard inner sleeve fit a bit tight. But once installed it works great.

This isn't a perfect or super high quality base, but it works well at a good price point. The fit of the parts isn't terribly snug, but installing it was a breeze and it works just fine. Would buy again for my uses.
