When I saw “replacement,” I thought it meant equivalent. Silly me! The original pump that came with my solar oxygenator lasted a solid 4 months (still not great, but at least it tried). This replacement? Barely wheezed its way through a couple of weeks before it gave up entirely. My fish were more reliable at generating bubbles.The only thing holding strong through this whole ordeal is the solar panel. Kudos to that little champ for staying in the game while everything else went to the landfill. If you’re planning to power your pond, this pump won’t keep up. You’d have better luck convincing your koi to blow bubbles themselves.On the bright side (pun intended), I was within the return window, so at least I got my money back. But seriously, Lewisia, please fix your quality control. Unless your business model is built on powering the dump with discarded pumps, this isn’t sustainable. Skip this and save your pond, your sanity, and your recycling bin some grief.
