I have a bedroom with a vaulted ceiling and it has always been notoriously difficult to keep it cool on a hot day. This thing has no problem at all keeping up with the heat. Only issue someone might have is that it is quite loud at max fan speed but I don't use it on max so works for me. Filter is pretty cool, it slides out of this slot on the front and is one solid piece which is very convenient to clean. Installation wasn't too difficult, I did it by myself in a window that is about 4 feet from the floor. All in all, I couldn't find a better deal and it works better than expected. I recommend.

I received this unit and was very pleased with it for two days. The compressor started to make a lot of noise. I got some help from my neighbors and we sat a support under the rear of the unit. This seemed to work until bedtime. It started making a lot of noise and so I disconnected it and returned it.

My old a/c window unit stopped working, and with an upcoming heatwave, I was desperate for a good unit to replace it. I got this lg a/c and found it to work just fine. I expect since it is newer than my last one that my normally sky high summer electric bill will be reduced a little bit. I haven't used all of the functions of the unit (like wifi connectivity- I don't need that), so I just say that it cools fine and it is not too loud.

I like how quiet it is, it cools my room fast. BUT I connected it to the internet and then to Alexa, it worked great for 2 weeks, and then loses internet, I reset the internet and the next day loses internet. The modem is like 10 feet from it.

We needed an air conditioner to cool off our kitchen and also hopefully bring some relief to our family room, right off the kitchen.This air conditioner is wonderful! It cools off our kitchen and our family room!!! Our kitchen is approximately 14x24 ft. and our family room is approximately 15x24 and an area that is 8x15 which forms an "L" shape. This is not noisy at all. This summer has been brutally hot and very humid. This air conditioner helped us so much! I would definitely purchase this one again!
