I like these bowls. They are fairly heavy duty and go through the dishwasher well. The only things I didn’t appreciate were all the stickers I had to remove from each individual bowl (I used GooBeGone) and one of them was chipped upon opening the box. As annoying as those two things are, I’m likely to order another set.

I ordered these bowls quite a while ago. First pack I received had broken bowls. Called Amazon got a replacement that was suppose to be free but I got charged for it & had to dispute it with Amazon. Second pack I received also had broken bowls as well but because it only had a couple broken bowls & they replaced it with a whole set I had enough to make a set. The bowls are very poor quality. They break super easily. Throughout the year bowls kept chipping around the rim which was very dangerous. Any little thing would chip it. I now have only 2 bowls left out of the whole set which I don’t use for eating anymore. I turned them into ashtrays. It’s not worth it & super dangerous to eat out of because you could chip the rim & glass will fall into your food without knowing. Even when you stack it in the cabinet it will leave small glass shards in the bowl or in your cabinet. Go check. They should not be selling these bowls they are very dangerous!!!!!!

These bowls are the perfect bowl size for cereal, ice cream etc, and we are not skimpy eaters. The only issue is that 3 of mine came chipped on the rim and were very sharp. So far we used a few bowls, put them in the dishwasher and they seem fine so far. We don't have a microwave so these were a good choice for us. The price was so reasonable I didn't mind throwing 3 out. We didn't really need all 12. I also purchased the rest of the Libbey Crisa Moderno dishes as glass dishes are lead/cadmium free. All of the other dishes seem to be in good shape when they arrived. They have a faint blueish/grey tint.

I bought these bowls to replace some ceramic cereal bowls that I've had for several years. Those bowls were deep and large which is great for soup and cereal. However, the ceramic was terrible in the microwave, so I had to heat soup in something else and transfer it to the ceramic bowls. That's a nuisance if you just want a single serving. Then the edges of the ceramic bowls started chipping off, so it was time to retire them. I have had these new clear glass bowls for three months and am very happy with them. In fact, they are much better than my old ceramic bowls. At 25-ounces, they are nice and large - perfect for a man-size bowl of cereal or soup. They work perfectly in the microwave and have no problem on the bottom rack of the dishwasher. Before I bought these, I looked at soup-sized bowls from Corelle Ware. HOLY SMOKE THOSE ARE EXPENSIVE! True, Corelle Ware is thin, light and tough, but I could buy three of these clear bowls for each Corelle bowl. I've not dropped one of these yet. I'm sure it would break if I did, but at this price, I don't care.

First of all I was completely annoyed when I received these bowls and there was no indication if they were safe to put in the microwave or not (maybe there was a small paper in the box but I didn't see it). After being an idiot and not checking the reviews to see if anyone else had tested them in the microwave, I decided to take a shot and microwave some soup in one of the bowls and found that they hold up wonderfully, they also do not heat up intensely like most glass tableware while the soup was piping hot.Like other reviewers have stated, these do look a lot bigger in the picture than they actually are but for me that was a bonus since I was originally ambivalent about ordering such weirdly deep bowls. Measure 6 inches with your fingers and they actually are that size. They are shallower than what you expect from the picture but still hold a lot and look great on a table setting; I've heated up an entire can of soup in one of these bowls. They also are super sturdy and the glass is thick but not too thick so I'm pretty sure if you dropped one that it would have a decent chance of surviving the fall. The price is great and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these to anyone.

I've got all this fancy china and never use it so I don't care if these bowls are "common". I could only have them if I bought 12. Well, I have had 2 bowls just like them I got about five years ago and wondered what on earth I'd do if I broke one or both because I use them all the time. I didn't need 12 but I wanted to get free shipping on something cheaper so now I have 14, almost an identical match in size, appearance but just slightly different. They are really thick glass and might be oven proof if you don't go too hot. So there's that option I'm going to try. Also may use them for steam molds because I'm really into that now, steamed puddings and Asian recipes for steamed (all sorts of things on Youtube). They are wonderful soup and chili bowls, ice cream bowls, our family kind of strawberry shortcake bowls, small mixing bowls, good for the lettuce and extras when you have Mexican, probably dozens of things to use them for. I saw where some people weren't too thrilled with them, but I am and wish I'd had these years ago. I love glassware because it looks clean and sparkly.

I have always purchased stoneware bowls with a larger diameter. However, when my teenage daughter dropped all but two of our bowls, I needed to replace them quickly. The bowls I usually buy were out of stock at our local Dept store. I found these on Amazon, the price was right and getting a pack of 12 was great (family of two adults and four kids). I "settled" for these even though I didn't like the fact they were clear glass or that they seemed so small. They arrived quick, packed securely. Once I used them, I felt they were actually perfect in size. I now LOVE that they are clear, as they look so clean, and I can see whether or not my little ones have finished their food without getting up to look in their bowls. My boys, age 10, 8, and three always ate out of those plastic bowls with straws, now, even they don't want to use their old bowls. Now, I need to donate all the old bowls to charity as they have not been used even once in the two months since these arrived. These bowls are great! I am surprised that I am so impressed with them as they just seemed so basic when I purchased them online. I definately was not expecting to like them so much. They also stack great in the cupboard and they're pretty tough. I accidently knocked one off the countertop while doing the dishes and it just rolled. Good deal.
