The magnet surface in the drums (2 of them) was ground out of square to the axle so that the drums jammed against the shoes locking the whole arrangement. The ridges were obvious and these were impossible to use in any case. Pure junk.

I ordered four electric brake drums and hardware from Libra. The machining on the braking surfaces was marginal at best. The machining on the inner part of the drum where the magnet makes contact was total garbage. There was no attempt at cleaning up the metal where the lathe had cut the drum and the surfaces were riddled with burrs that would've ground up the magnets in a short period of time. I returned the drums and was charged a 20% restocking fee. When questioned why I was charged for faulty parts I was told that the inspectors at Libra found no problem with the drums. If these pass for good quality then I'd hate to see what the other stuff they sell looks like. The photos included here tell the story. Do not buy trailer drums from this company. They are junk and will ruin your magnets.

Only complaint was that the hub is too wide for the wheels I used. Wheels had to be reamed out to get them over the hubs.
