Worked great for me last year and saved me hundreds. Able to fix my old account system instead of replacing it.

Tried to use this gauge set to pull a vacuum on an ac system and the high side quick disconnect leaked. Had me chasing my tail thinking my system which was just replaced leaked. After playing around for a hour or so I figured out the adapter leaked. Oh well live and learn. Cheap doesn't always mean good and good isn't always cheap! Buyer beware.

This is a really nice set that features compatibility with several different types of refrigerant. Comes packed in a really nice case and the quality is perfect for DIY. I used it to recharge my vintage coke cooler that uses R12. I highly recommend if you want a good quality set for occasional use. I only say that because this is the first time in my life I’ve ever had to do this type of work.

Guages and hoses are nice enough but the 134A attachment is complete garbage. It absolutely will not open up a can. The needle is too large and keeps bending the can instead of going inside. Bought an autozone can tap and wouldn't you know it the threads are different. Has cost me more money and time at this point than I paid for it.

I only used it once, but I was happy with everything. Nice clear guages. Connectors snap on and off easily. Feels like a quality made product. This is not the cheapest one, but it does not feel like cheap. My impression is that it is worth the price.

I returned these gauges because of a problem I had with one of the can-piercing valves. Other than that, these gauges seem to be fine.

For adding refrigerant to a car or a fridge, this set should work just fine. Quality is quite reasonable for the price point (professional gauge sets made in the US such as Yellow Jacket or Robinair cost about 4X as much). The set comes with additional accessories, such as can taps and extra gaskets. If you happen to have any issues, customer support has been top notch in my experience.I encountered two small issues with this unit. First, the low side gauge was less accurate than the stated 1.6% accuracy. It read a few PSI too high at 120 psi when calibrated at zero. I set the gauge to read accurately at 75 psi so that it reads reasonably close at the pressures I use most often. The high side gauge was spot on.I tested the hoses to about 220 psi. They didn't noticeably leak and they didn't burst -- something that I was worried about after reading reviews for similar sets. The second issue is that like most manifold sets in this price range, the hoses come with hard white plastic (Nylon?) gaskets. These gaskets take a lot of force to secure and are prone to loosening when the hoses are moved. Additionally, after the hoses are attached a number of times, the plastic starts to deteriorate. A few additional seals are included in the set, and replacement are readily available on Amazon. I ordered a set of green rubber seals to see if they work any better.Overall, this set met my expectations, and should cover 95% of typical DIY uses.
