This is a really cute sweater! Seems like it will be sturdy, BUT.... I purchased a medium, because I am a small/medium (generally). I put it in the wash, and before I dried it I thought, OH Boy, this seems small. So I stretched the arms and let it mostly air dry. I slipped it on, and it might be doable, but because of its low coverage it was challenging to get back off by myself. If I had gone bigger, I think this would be ideal for arm coverage on warm days. The medium on me won't provide as good of coverage as displayed in the picture. I'm cautiously optimistic. The material may give a lightweight feel however it is a sturdy material. I wouldn't say it is light and flowy feeling. I was pleased with the price.

This is a flat, thin cardigan. The problem for me was nothing fit where it should! The size fit okay but the place where the chest was supposed to be sat on top of my chest. I don't even know how to describe it but weird. If I could send this back, I would. I didn't like this at all.

So I'm a 5 foot lady wearing a Small and I've had a lot of cardigans from Amazon. This one fits like an XS or XXS. It doesn't cover my back, it really only goes across my upper shoulders. And the sleeves are above the elbow. It feels like I'm squeezed into a tiny jacket. The fabric is soft and nice and the lacy detail is lovely, but you need to size up.
