My dog chewed up the factory cork on my Shark Rotator vacuum, I wanted a longer cord that the factory length. This cord is a bit thicker than the factory but a fairly easy install. I LOVE how sturdy and well built this cord seems to be. If I need another cord for anything I will come back here.

This replacement cord brought new life to an otherwise perfect vacuum cleaner that had a worn cord. Perfect fit, much heavier than original. Just realize that most vacuum cleaners need a lot of disassembly just to replace the cord. If you're good at fixing things should be no problem

This is a well-built cord at a great price but I'm taking off one star because there's no clamp on the back of the plug to hold it to the cord when it's wound. The clip is plainly seen on one of the company's product photos. Compare their photo (left) with mine (right).

Bought this 4 years ago to replace the power cord on a Dyson ball vacuum. Recently the vacuum stopped working. Upon inspection I found that the cord had failed mid-span (the neutral burned apart.) You can see this in the photo where I cut the cable open to reveal the failure. This wasn’t at either end of the cable, or at a pinch point, and there was no visible damage to the cable at all, so it just seems to be a factory defect that finally presented. I’m an electrician and this was quite surprising to see - cable failures are almost always at connections or due to physical damage.On another note, the clip on the cord end isn’t large enough to clip onto the cable itself, so it’s kind of pointless. Maybe that’s been fixed though since I bought it?

Better than I expected. Replace worn, cracked cord on s Shark upright, and the new cord's jacket has the distinctive feel of silicon, very flexible, easy to whip around corners, obstacles. Not just a replacement, an upgrade.

Just what I needed. It’s almost impossible to find a replacement vacuum cord in stores. I looked everywhere before trying Amazon. This is exactly what I was looking for. It was very easy to install and works great. The only issue is the thing on the cord that you use to hold the cord together when wrapped up (not sure what it’s called) is too small. There’s no way the cord would fit into it. But this is pretty minor as the cord still does it’s job so it doesn’t bother me too much.
