One of the easiest videos I've ever done. I just disconnected the wires from the old controller and connected wires to the new controller. BAM! Done. It works perfectly, much to my surprise. Now I don't have to worry about leaving my garage door open. It closes automatically after 1 minute.

The original unit stopped working properly. I tried everything, but I finally purchased this new unit to replace the old unit. It works perfectly.

This is a perfect replacement for the standard wall mount control delivered with a new garage door opener. The motion activated light sensor makes it extremely nice when going into the garage in the evening, no need to manually turn the light on with the control panel button, or with the garage light switch, the sensor does it for you. This control panel works seamlessly with Liftmaster, Craftsman or Chamberlain openers. The temperature display is nice to indicate the garage temperature. The panel also has the capability to automatically close the garage after a certain period of it being open or at a certain time of day. Since I have the My-Q app and subscribe to the service, this is built into the cloud setup.I'm sure you will be pleased with this control panel.

This is a great panel, easy to swap in for my old unit that only had two buttons. Unfortunately when I try to enable the time-to-close feature, the display tells me my opener doesn't support that function. I have model 1D7675 with a yellow learn button and a 2013 manufacture date, and "Security 2.0+ labels on it." The manual specifically lists the time-to-close feature and indicates it requires the 880LM or 881LM panel to use that. That said, the LCD panel is still worth it, and I'm not going to try to return it as the LCD will list in plain english what's going on with the door, rather than cryptic flash codes from the opener. That helped me diagnose and fix two different issues: First, the door was refusing to close at certain times of day (sunlight hitting the IR receiver directly at night, or bouncing off a shiny trash tote and hitting it in the morning) and the panel showed "Sensor Blocked; Miswired; Error Code 1-1; See Manual" which helped a lot more than the blink codes which did not seem consistent; the panel also showed that status non-stop with the door open until I shaded the sensor so I could verify my fix without even operating the door. Second, I had tried re-calibrating the down force by setting the up and down limits (which inherently recalculates the normal force required to move the door) and apparently I had set the down limit a bit low, as occasionally the door would close fully and then re-open. Again, the blink codes are hard here because often I'd be inside the house when I heard it bounce up, and the blinking was already done, but the panel showed the error code, indicating downforce exceeded. Tweaking the closed limit was quick and easy.Aside from that, the temperature display is nice, as is the motion-activated light.

I bought this as a replacement for my old one which crapped out. It was the same model. Setup was simple.

My previous one (same make and model) Broke so this was a replacement. Arrived sooner than expected and works just as it should. I do love the motion light that activates when I open my man door into the garage and appreciate the digital display for the temperature of the garage, let me adjust my heater accordingly.

Absolutely love how fast we received and how extremely easy it was to install. Our old wall remote for garage door had just given up one day and this was the best decision made. Saved a few hundred not having to call a company in.

I have programmed this to close my garage door 4 minutes after it opens. The timer resets each time you pass by or trip the optical sensors at the door, so it's not always 4 minutes if you are going in and out. There is a handy button labeled 'hold' that you can use when you want to bypass the timer and leave the door open for a longer period of time. You can then hit the 'release' button to reset the timer or close it manually with your remote. As a bonus you can use it to program new remotes. This unit worked perfectly with my Liftmaster garage door opener with the yellow program button.I removed the old wall toggle switch and used the same wires to attach to this device, so installation was very simple.Installation was simple, I just replaced the wall mounted dumb switch that I had inside the garage. Many times it has saved me when I went right into the house without closing the garage door. I love it.It bugs me that I paid about 70 dollars for a MyQ wifi/internet garage door accessory and it does not have this timer feature. The MyQ allows me to open and close the door with my phone and check the status of the door, but that simple timer feature that this product has is even more useful.

In my previous house, I had to replace the garage door opener. Ended up getting an all singing all dancing wifi enabled one. I have recently moved into a brand new house, and while the garage doors the builder installed were wifi ready, I needed the controllers to make it all sync up.So I purchased 2 Liftmaster 880LM Smart Control Panels, hooked them up to a Liftmaster Gateway and now I have wifi enabled garage doors again. This allows me to monitor the activity of my garage doors, open and close them remotely and feel more secure about my garage. How many times have you left home, and then returned right away, feeling like you had forgotten to close the garage door? Now you can check it remotely! The 880LM Control Panels have a nice LCD display that shows time and the temperature of the garage. They also have motion sensors built in for the lights, which I love. I can just walk into the dar garage and the lights automatically come on. A nice feature if you've got your hands full.I'd recommend upgrading to these controllers if you have a wifi enabled garage door opener that you want full control over (don't forget to order an internet gateway as well for full functionality), or if you want to just have your garage lights turn on automatically as you walk in there. A cheap add-on for some nice home automation.
