I got this for my son who plays a wizard in our Dungeons & Dragons campaign. The light up tip is fun and the wand is well sculpted. The Taurus constellation looks good too and is his sign so it feels more personalized to him My only complaint is that I wish you could pick the color that the tip would stick with. It needs to be more like a lightsaber. It's not as immersive if you need to click the button to cycle through to the color you want each time. Otherwise, A+ though!

This wand comes in really nice packaging and looks very good. It has fine detailing that makes it look very realistic and special. I like that it comes with a booklet of spells that was fun to read and look at. The wand does light up and charged with the included cable. While it worked very well in the beginning it did not hold up to my kids play and the switch quickly failed. The switch seems to be crooked and was stuck on and could not be turned off and now it no longer works. That was a disappointment, but I think if it were handled carefully more like a model or a prop it would hold up better. I guess if this is a good choice for you depends mainly on what you intend to use it for. If it's part of your costume or for careful use where the appearance is important then it will probably be great. If it's meant for active play or use by kids there may be more appropriate options.

Exactly as described. I love all the colors it has to choose from. I do wish there was a way to select one color to always be the first color to light up. When press the button the colors you can choose are (in order) lavender, then green, then blue, then red, yellow. If you wanted wave the wand and have the wand turn on with green, you have to press the button twice. Granted, this is all for fun and play, but the illusion is slightly marred by have the colors change trying to get to the one you want if lavender is not your desired color. Just a suggestion to the manufacturer (not the seller) having a second button that you could have saved as a specific color would be nice. Any wand makers out there listening? :)
