I love these items that look like a real products but are actually secret hideaway things. I saw this and was like, "I must have that now!"It looks like a real Bic lighter, except for a couple tiny differences that don't really make a difference in its ability to fool someone. The one thing however; that got me disappointed was that the listing said it's sparkable, because there's a flint but mine did not have the flint so it does not spark and I ordered another and the 2nd one also didn't spark so that was a let down.The bottom of the lighter has a seemless removable cap that gives access to the storage area and it looks like there's no opening. The price for this is great and it's nearly identical to a Bic. The storage is a bit tight and small but there's certain items that can fit in it and pass as a lighter....as long as no one tries lighting it!

... Especially because of it's very small size. I don't think anybody would ever expect it. Which is why it will work and be a successful way to keep and store small valuables, such as jewelry or medicines, safely. I don't think anyone would ever suspect it to be a hidden safe LOL.

Great product for storing small items that need to remain safe. While this can be used as a pill carrier it can also be used for other small items you may want to protect from theft or discovery. I compared it side by side with a working BIC lighter and they are identical in appearance.There is no padding inside the storage compartment so unless you use cotton or wrap items (using tissue, paper, etc.) you will hear a rattle upon handling.Visually the only difference is that the lighter safe has a smooth flint wheel where the working BIC has ridges on the flint wheel. Of course, the lighter safe does not light and the wheel or push button are not functional.The stash compartment is simple to open by way of a small notch located at the bottom. If you do not have finger nails this may be difficult and the first time you open the stash compartment it will be a bit more stubborn.

This is a great lighter for hiding small valuables. It looks like a regular lighter and has about as much capacity as you'd expect from the form factor.

This hidden compartment faux lighter is just the trick to smuggle small items into or out of someplace. It really looks and nearly functions like a standard disposable butane lighter. It's a little bit taller than a typical Bic disposable, but otherwise it's a dead-on copy. The gas lever moves like a real lighter, and the striker wheel also rotates. However, the striker doesn't feel like a real lighter when it turns and it doesn't spark, so if someone handled it and tried it they would immediately know it was some kind of fake.

To the casual observer this looks just like a real lighter and you wouldn't know otherwise unless you inspect it closer.I found you can fit about 5-6 US bills inside without things getting too crammed, but you have to fold them in half first, height-wise, before you roll them up.Overall very pleased so far, unless you pick it up and inspect it closer or try to use it you won't know any better.
