I am very happy with this item.I ordered this to go through a bunch of old SD cards I had stored and my computer doesn't have a card reader. It works perfectly and I really like it.It is USB 3 so it's as fast as it needs to be. The speed limitation here is the SD card read speed of course. It takes full sized SD and micro SD cards and when the card is installed it functions just like a thumb drive. The plastic is heavy duty and it doesn't feel cheap at all.This item is definitely a keeper and I highly recommend it to anyone needing an SD card reader that is well made and works perfectly out of the box. It's working great for me on Windows 10.

Most laptops have a USB port but not all have SD and micro SD card readers. This USB adapter makes that possible on any device that fits a standard USB. It works well with no issues. I like that both the USB port and the micro SD card slot have covers to keep them clean from debris.

This is an inexpensive, easy-to-use USB 3.0 adapter for SD or Micro SD memory card. I inserted a NUIFLASH 64 GB micro SD memory card into the end of the adapter (see photo) and plugged the device into my laptop's USB 3.0 port. It works great, with fast data transfer and flashing LED light to show it is connected and working properly. The adapter also includes an SD card slot but then the stick has the end of the SD card sticking out the side where it could be damaged or pull out. In contrast, when the micro SD card is installed, a small cover closes over the card slot, it snaps into place, and both the USB plug and the SD micro card are protected. I highly recommend this device as an inexpensive way to put an extra micro SD card to good use. I now have easy access to 64 GB of removeable USB storage when I need it.

I’ve always been partial to USB card readers vs Flash Drives because you can always change the capacity by just getting a larger card. I came across this Utaky reader that looks a lot like the Rocketek reader. As I opened the package, lo and behold, it is a Rocketek branded drive. A solid brand that I’ve never had issues with. On top of that, it was $1 cheaper than the already budget friendly Rocketek. I’m not going to go too much into this one, but I will say that you’ll get a solid performing USB 3.0 card reader at a super price.

I needed a card reader mainly for SD and micro-SD cards. I also wanted a reader than I can drop in a daily carry bag that doesn't take up much space - this card reader checked all of those boxes.I easily read both size cards- SD and micro-SD with no problems. I transferred photos, video and data files with no problem. I did not check speeds, but it did seem faster than a standard 2.0 USB. I moved some large files very quick. The specs say it can handle other size cards as well, but I didn't test any others. It does appear accurate though from just examining the card slots.I like the cap that protects the end opening as I'll be carrying this a lot. It would be nice if the side SD card opening had a cover as well. As I drop this in a small plastic carry bag, I'll be okay but just be aware that side slot is not protected. This unit is close to the size of a thumb drive so that is perfect. It is plastic and doesn't feel super strong. Only time will tell about durability to the case.It has a place for a small clip to attach to a key ring or another carry loop. It's a very small plastic loop and seems fragile so I don't think I trust it not to break - that and the lightweight plastic case my only real negatives with this device.Small, compact size; reads SD and micro-SD; feels sturdy. I recommend and if no problems in 6 months with durability, I will come back and HIGHLY recommend.

I almost use CFexpress cards exclusively, but one of my cameras has a SD card for the 2nd slot. I only use the 2nd slot for overflow in case I fill the the CFexpress card first. I picked up this reader just in case I needed to access the 2nd card. I had 2 month trip to South America and did end up using the overflow card and I'm glad I had the reader with me. I had to use my USB adapter since my computer has only USB-C slots, but the reader still worked fine. It's certainly not as fast as my CFexpress card reader but I knew that would be the case. But this does the job in a pinch. Its construction is durable enough that I didn't mind it floating around in a bag with all of my other cords, adapters, and readers. Overall, it's a great reader to keep around even if you just need a spare.

I love this thing it’s so versatile with ability to read tf and sd memory cards. Not all computers have the ability to read these smaller cards but almost all computers can take a USB thumb drive. Now I can download videos from my car camera and save for later or proof. This I found difficult on other laptops I’ve owned. Very happy with the performance and the price cheap, cheap, cheap.
