A starless because it was VERY difficult putting the top on and hurt my thumb broke a quarter of my nail (in the nail bed) off! Ouch! After many failed attempts I was able to angle it right and get it in there. The rest screw together easily and I used the stake bottom which was easy to put in the ground. I waited until the ground was soft after a good rain. It looks great and feels sturdy.

The description of this item states the hook can hold 11 pounds, and it says it is targeted towards hummingbird feeders and windchimes. I believe this is accurate.It is very lightweight, and it looks good. If used freestanding, it needs the water weight base.If plants hang from it, I would recommend small ones or ones that need little water. If I decide to put it in the ground, I will use it for a hummingbird feeder or two.Once it warms up and I start spending more time on the patio, I will place suncatchers and windchimes on it.

These shepherds hooks are made well in quality to me.They are strong and sturdy.The claimed round base is not found in the package as we thought we would had used it on the deck; while the claimed 4 prongs base is there, which good for lawn.I am not sure of the description on the water weight bag since I don't see anything in the package.

I just anchored this pole made of high end good quality metal into the ground as it comes also with a flat base support.I hung my solar lights on it and they look very stylish especially when they are on at night.This pole is so easy to put together as it adds a decorative piece in my garden.It is heavy duty and very stable with its functionality and can be used to hang bird feeders too.

Not very sturdy when mounted on a flat surface, so put some weight on it. Otherwise ok.

Crap, product bends and warps under even minor load from a couple of pepper plants. Not sending back as it’ll just end up in landfill…but rather worthless
