Very large but it has an elastic and drawstring waist with belt loops, so it’s easily adjustable. The fabric is thinner but not too see through. They seem comfortable and are washer/dryer friendly. They are long enough for my 6’1” husband. I ordered the Xxl for him because of his 40” waist, but I’m thinking the xl might have been better because of the elastic. All the pockets are great.

These shorts are awesome, I bought them in 4 colors and wear them every day. I have run them through the wash 3 or 4 times at this point (maybe more) and they have been holding up. Hopefully they continue to do so. I'm normally a large bottom and ordered the large but they felt like they were creeping up my backside so I returned and order XL. Washed them and dried them to have them shrink a little and that did the trick. They are a touch too big but the drawstring fixes that issue. They are some of the most comfortable clothes I own, I love them. I bought a bunch of linen shirts to go with these shorts and it's a great combo.
