It is percale cotton; however, not a high thread count so not as soft as I am used to. Good enough to try out for awhile.

I love the crisp feel of percale sheets. These fit beautifully, and feel just like percale should.Yes, they will wrinkle, but as a bottom fitted sheet, they stretch out nicely when on the bed, so wrinkles are not a problem.I recommend these for fit, feel, and price.

I have multiple mattresses arranged as a sectional sofa for daytime seating, which also serve for sleeping at night. These sheets can handle human and pet traffic, as well as constant swapping out and laundering. They have the right combination of softness and durability. They have a percale weave, and the stitching around the corners and gathering are stout. Other sheets are too thin and fragile or don't breathe as well.

These are very nice, smooth, sturdy sheets. In reading the marketing material thread-count seems to be the end all & be all. Not true, however! The finer the weave, the thinner the sheets, and the less breathable, and yes, less comfortable. Think of clothing...cool clothing is a looser weave. Same with these sheets--not the finest weave, but smooth & comfortable....and COOL, none-the-less.Deep corner pockets, perfectly fitting. They should keep getting softer too, with washing, being 100% percale cotton.A great product, and I'd definitely buy again! Highly recommended.
