These worked well for me. I used them for my crossbow nocks and as often happens, the bolt can be a pass-thru and I've lost plenty of expensive bolts that way. Since adding these to my bolts, not a single one has been lost, even when it is pitch black in the woods when I get to retrieve it. I'd buy again for sure when I want more.

For over 40 years, I have had a casual relationship with target archery and have a couple compound bows and a recurve. But my wrists and elbows are becoming arthritic and shoulders are started to go so pulling a compound is getting harder and harder. With that, I figured I'd get a crossbow- it's almost the same isn't it? Nope. Found out it's a different world. Equipment and maintenance is almost the same but different. I am finding this out as I acquire more required equipment and accessories for my crossbow.Enter lighted nocks. Cool idea, only wish they'd provide more information and instruction than what's on the Amazon ad page. For instance- how do I remove the nocks from my bolts to replace with these? I guess I'll have to find a YouTube video (my go-to). Do I turn these on before I load the bolt...that's what I thought until I noticed a little "nub" in the nock's groove which I found to be a pressure switch that activates the light when fired (I initially thought the was a plastic gate from the a casting frame). No mention of this on the Amazon page and they do not come with instructions or a product QR code.Nevertheless, with my little knowledge, I think these are a good price and great idea so I am giving them 4 stars. Just have to continue doing research.

Love the on off switch on the side. Don't have to pull the nock apart to turn it off after useing. Easily put in the back off bolts

These nocks fit the string well. They light up brightly. Well, all of them light up brightly except for one. And that one will not stay lit. So, one of six nocks is defective. I would prefer that they all work properly. Other than that these nocks will do the job.

Super easy to find bolts stuck in deer, missed, or pass throughs. Whole pack cheaper than a bolt and broadhead

I took them out of the box and tried them at night by throwing one in the grass and was able to find it easily. Haven't tried it on a crossbow arrow shaft yet as I have to remove the current fitting, but it looks like it will be fine. Haven't tested battery life, but I expect it will let me recover the arrows the same evening/night I shoot. I dislike not recovering expensive mechanical arrow heads and this will let me save some bucks each shooting season (haha, pun intended).

I am using these on a Wicked Ridge Warrior G3. Originally only Omni Nocks were the only recommended nock for their bolts. They have since changed to Alpha Nocks which are effectively a modified half moon nock for narrower bows. So I decided to convert some of my bolts to lighted nocks.Let me start by saying that there are no instructions and you need to use caution before replacing nocks. You can easily damage a shaft and/or fletching in the process. I am no expert, but I can explain what I did. With that in mind I began converting a few XX75 aluminum bolts and a few Wicked ridge aluminum bolts (same as XX75). You have to heat the end of the shaft to break the glue and then twist out the old ones. Once removed clean out the old glue with solvent and a q-tip or round bristle brush like you would use for bore cleaning. Then simply insert the correct insert (0.305" in this case), align the nock and push it in. If you go with a tight press fit, you should be fine. If after practicing you notice some movement, you may want to stake the insert or the nock or both with some cement. If you want to replace them, use a nock/fletch cement or clear RTV. If you something more permanent you can use use super glue or your favorite high strength adhesive. If you are using them on carbon arrows, check with the manufacturer before using any solvent or adhesives.Once installed using them is easy. Just shoot and they turn on. Push the switch back, and they shut off. You may need to use a finger nail or something if your fingers can't move the switch, but it is easier than others I have used on my bow.I really liked that this kit included the insert for most bolt diameters. I also like that the green is super intense light. I also have the blue, and it is a fuzzy laser looking light. The green is more like looking at an LED flashlight. It hurts up close and you can see it a long way away on various backgrounds. I am practicing with them now, and hunting. I will see how they hold up in my real world application.
