Screws pulled through the slot as tightened. After replacement screws and washers it works well, but should not need them.

What isn't obvious in the illustration is that one of the cross bolts is in a slot-allowing for spacing options between the two crossbolts.I have a Ruger .44 Magnum carbine, manufactured in 1976. It is fitted with two-piece scope mount blocks, Weaver-style, one on the barrel and one on the receiver. Both are very short, which works fine when mounting a scope on the gun, which was the case, originally. I now want to use a red dot on the gun and don't trust either of those little blocks to be secure enough, individually. I wanted to tie them together via a long riser.I don't think spacing between the slots was part of the original plan. A current pic rail riser does not fit the existing Weaver cross-slots. This riser does. Because it uses crossbolts rather than cross bars and because one of the crossbolts could be slid foreward and rearward in a slot in the rail, this worked perfectly. I appreciate that the crossbolts thread into steel "nuts", not aluminum.

I'm a paintball mag-fed player and paintball masks are very bulky, making it impossible to look through a red dot sight on a normal rail system. I use a T1 Red dot which already is elevated about an inch to half an inch and I still couldn't see through it. This bridge mount is very low profile, cost effective, and was the perfect adjustment height to be able to effective use my sight.

Browning .243 A Bolt. I bought the picatinny rail for it and the scope mounts were too close together to span the chamber. So I bought this riser that was long enough to mount to that. Now I have plenty of room to adjust the scope and the 3/4 rise really helps. Seems to be solid. It's on the gun about 6 1/2 minutes after the mailman handed it to me.

Perfect to add just that little extra bit of clearance above the barrel/ forward picatinny rail sections of my upper receiver for my Nikon Buckmaster 4-12x scope. It is not a quick detach riser but that was preferred given that my optic is mounted to it. 2 hex nuts allow for quick enough detach if desired to be removed. There is no looseness/ play in this riser- it will fit standard picatinny accessories perfectly (which is not always the case with some cheap polymer rails sold on Amazon). Ideal for my intended application. Once my optic was zeroed the riser held that zero after 300 rounds. Fully recommend for optics.

Lightweight and good quality. I had to trim about 1/4 inch off of this (adjustable end) to get it to fit flush on my setup - shouldn't be an issue for others. I have Magpul backup sights on it and the cut was based on my preference. This replaces a bulkier TruGlo riser I had. Locktite on the screws and it should be good to go. It hasn't come loose but I haven't put it through the real paces yet. Any future purchases I will definitely be looking at the Lions Gear brand quality/price checking.
