Sent my 2002 Corvette C5 mirror in for an LED upgrade, but couldn’t figure out how to get it off the window. This tool was suggested on YouTube and it is the exact tool you need for this job. And yes, the map lights LED upgrade was worth it!

This tool is a requirement to get the FORD rear view mirror off of your truck or SUV. Simple and easy to use, mirror came right off and I was able to replace it in a minute.

This remover did not help get my rearview mirror off my Ford Five Hundred. I tried quite a few times several different angles but to no avail. I've watched videos and more videos, have purchased several different tools but can't budge that damn mirror lol.Maybe you'll have better luck with this tool than me. It seems to be well made and has some weight to it so I'm not saying the tool is crap. It just didn't work for me. Now I have to figure out what I can possibly use this for in the future. Hate buying something that ends up just hanging around reminding me of a failure 🤨 lol.

Purchased this tool to remove the rearview mirror on my C5 corvette. The tool put so much force on my windshield that it cracked.Could be operator error just be careful!

After trying a different type of tool where the end was too thick to insert into the mirror, this tool fit perfectly. After only a few minutes the mirror came off. The trick is to saturate around the mirrors base with a soap and water solution so the mirror slides off quickly. To put a new mirror on, I turned the tool around with the padded end of tool against the mirror base and tapping with a rubber mallet gently the mirror was secured. I recommend this tool.
