I like this shape better than the up and down wheel. It’s better for their backs as the are not arched/ better mouse ergonomics haha. It also does not hold poop in it. I had a problem with the wheels having them poop and then walk on it and poop got smeared everywhere. This somehow eliminated the issue. It does have a small sound when going around but not too noticeable, about as loud as a refrigerator hum. It took them a couple weeks to realize what it was for but now they use it every night. Good quality product and great mouse husbandry toy.

....their little fluffy butts will fly right off like a slingshot when they really get going. They also run so fast that this wheel bounces and slides and then knocks into their other tubes and such in their cage; very noisy as a result. The wheel itself is not noisy! It's great. Just the fact that a Syrian can make it scoot and move around. We had to switch to a Niteangel wheel and get a bigger cage to put it into. However, we are keeping this particular wheel so they can play in it when they're in their playpen.

I bought this wheel because the wheel that came with the habitat was too small. The hamster looked like it was going to break it's back given the size of the original wheel. With this wheel being fairly flat (but angled), the hamster doesn't look like it is trying to touch it's head to it's tail. It looks like a much easier position for the hamster to run - and it runs. For hours and hours. It will change direction on occasion to (I assume) even out the workout on left vs right legs. It is fairly quiet, you can definitely hear when it is in use, but it isn't noisy enough to be bothersome.

This item is a waste of money. The wheel is too light and the circular attachment unscrews very easy to the post. The center cracked the first day. Don’t buy this.

If you have a small animal that doesn’t chew obsessively this is a great product. It only took my gerbils took 2 days to chew the legs off.

Excelente para hámster sirio ! Normalmente las ruedas normales de menos de 30 cm no le sirven a un sirio pero con esta anda feliz cuando no usa su rueda grande ! Recomendable ! Es muy silenciosa y se ve que el hámster la disfruta un buen!

Very quite as our Oreo (hamster) runs all night. The only noise is her nails on the plastic. Doesn't tip over at all, the wheel is not cheaply made, and it looks really cute in her cage. If Oreo could rate it she would give it an A+.

My hamster absolutely loves this thing!! I have a teddy bear hamster which is bigger than dwarf hamsters the cage that I got for her came with a wheel but most of the cages and wheels that come with it are made more for dwarf hamsters so you could tell that it was making her have to curb her back a lot and was just way too small, this was perfect size for her. She uses it all the time. I highly recommend this especially if you have a bigger hamster.

I have been buying a flying disk saucer wheel for my Robo (Hammy) from a local pet superstore and they're quite expensive. They also keep slowing down due to the mechanism being all plastic and when dirt gets up into the shaft, it starts to grind and slow it down leading to failure. It can't be cleaned in the shaft either so they need renewed every couple of months! This one although I have only had it a short amount of time seems to move more freely. The fact you can take the wheel off separately to clean is fantastic!! This was the issue with my old one. This is a much better designed disk and being in two parts makes is so much easier to clean. Thanks very much!! :)
