Base is the perfect size but it doesnt matter what glue you use, plastic, super, Gorilla (TM), nothing and I repeat nothing sticks to this base. Im just attempting some regular run of the mill nolzur's minis that normally will stick to anything but this base? forget it

I immediately frisbee flung this stupid thing cross the room….It is what it is…I had hoped it would actually be a model base… it’s not… you can use it for that… but it’s truly not… spend the extra dollar and by a model base from a model company…This item is, simply, a roughly cut circle of black acrylic. That’s it. That’s all. No more. No less.It’s about 3mm thick.It’s black.It’s a “circle”And you CAN use it as a base.It’s also NOT hollow underneath like a proper base should be.It’s smooth as glass, with a mirror like finish so absolutely nothing other that plastic melt-bonding glue is sticking to it.It’s like… if you took one of the Games Workshop green acrylic templates… made it opaque, removed the molded features and details to make it smooth, filled in the hole in the center, and roughed up the edges by rolling like a wheel from one end of a concrete parking lot to the other…Here’s the only GOOD use I found for it. And it’s a stretch. And still basically useless as a model piece.It would make a decent “Portable Hole” stand in for your DnD game…

I needed this for a miniature project diorama. It's made from black acrylic, and is relatively round, though not as perfect as if it was injection molded plastic. There's a little bit of machine marks on the edges, but the base isn't really the important part for a miniature. I had to sand the edges to be more uniform because I was also pouring resin on the diorama and needed as smooth an edge as possible.You might need to texture the surface to get PVA glue and other basing materials to stick. Just a few passes with a coarse sandpaper is all it needed for me to start applying PVA.Great for your dragon models, or mini dioramas.

It's a plastic disc that fits the big dragon I bought it for. It's thinner than some of the bases that come with D&D and Pathfinder minis out of the box, but it's rigid, it's plastic, and it does exactly what I bought it for. Can't beat it with a stick.

I'll take responsibility for not scrutinizing the picture. I didn't realize this was just a flat plastic disk. I use the Pathfinder pawns, and all of the pawn bases are slotted to hold the cardboard miniatures, and I assumed that this was also slotted. It doesn't say it is slotted, but it is much less useful to meet without that slot. If you could fabricate a variant with the slot I would be more interested in buying some, but for my purpose this was more expensive than I would have paid had I realized that.

This is a very nice acrylic base that I used for displaying a rocket model rather than an RPG figurine but it worked perfectly for that, as I did not want a thicker display base. The only thing I noticed is that the edge is not cut perfectly round, but is cut in a series of fine (though not especially conspicuous or noticeable) straight edges. However, these small edges are smooth and glossy and from more than a few inches away this looks perfectly (and beautifully) round. I would have given this four stars but I'm a perfectionist and know it--for pretty much anyone else this is a nice five-star product befitting of your most carefully painted RPG dragon or other figure. It also arrived 100% scratch-free and individually poly-bagged.Note: I've added an additional photo of my Lunar Rover which shows the display base more clearly.
