This is my third feeder that I have ordered and I love that my birds are unable to rake out the feed and waste so much feed. Bonus is the amount of feed this feeder holds so less fill ups.

This feeder is the best one I have ever bought for my small flock. If you use layer pellets, you may need to cut about 1/4 inch off the bottom of the funnel so the pellets will feed evenly. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one if I needed it.

My coop has had issues with squirrels getting in, they would wipe out my feed. This has helped a lot and reduced waste.

Like with the waterers, we've been through so many different styles of feeder, and settled on these. The other ones always ended up with a bunch of wasted food, were TERRIBLE for letting water in them, and didnt' hold nearly as much as this..This can hold an entire bag of feed, and i have yet to notice ANY food on the ground from this, which is AMAZING considering the massive waste i was seeing from most other designs. I use them for everything from full grown turkey to chickens who just got all their feathers. Get this and their waterer first and you won't have to replace it with something else. I wish we started with this one!

I use a large no tip bowl for feed. Problem was a select few chickens would go in and kick the food outside the bowl. The food was everywhere and most didnt want to pick it off the floor for some reason. Finally I broke down and invested in this feeder and it's been great. It holds enough food for days for 28 chicken, 3 ducks, 2 guineas, 2 peacocks and 6 turkeys. I'm not going through so much feed anymore either so no more wasted food and I'm saving money. It was easy to put together and looks like it will be easy to clean when the time comes.
