This poor plant was a gift for my wife. It looked like it had been assaulted with a baseball bat & stabbed multiple times when it arrived. I don’t recommend buying live plants & having them shipped. I will probably never do this again.

Plant arrived almost dead. The soil was very loose and all over the place and dry as a bone. Not very well planted since the roots were showing all over the place. 2 out of the 4 leaves were dead on arrival and the other two very heavily damaged. It almost looked like the plant was just thrown into the pot with some dirt and not planted correctly. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING!

The plant looks as if leaves had been torn off. Otherwise, it came well secured and very well alive. I hope it lives. I’m waiting to see its beauty.

Product came completely destroyed with multiple broken leaves and smushed in a box half the size of the plant.

Plant arrived in poor shape. Most of the leaves were broken with yellowing. I do not recommend buying this plant.

I was dubious about ordering a plant through Amazon but the price was considerably lower than other sources. This colocasia looks like the real thing, came quickly, it was well packaged, has five healthy leaves, and contained a postcard with a link to the seller describing proper care. There’s also an unidentified sachet about 4' x 3' x 1/2”. I’m not sure if it’s intended for moisture delivery during the trip, or if it’s fertilizer. I’m looking forward to more specialty items from Deep Roots Plants.
