I am pleasantly surprised with how tough and well built this is. We’ve put several of these types of scratchers around the farm the last couple years and the quality has varied greatly with several failing after a first couple uses. This one in particular was large and the brush itself was stiff which is exactly what you want for cows. Unlike some of the others this also has some flex at the base which would allow for more of a wrap around a post which will work great for my application. Very happy overall

I absolutely love these brushes! Our Friesian horses are major fans of good hard scritches, and these brushes are the bomb. We offer them a few different scratching options, but these are the ones they choose most. I've used the ones that are a half circle in the past, and those are great for mounting on outside corners, but this jointed version is my favorite because it's the most versatile and provides the biggest surface area and mounting location options. I'll be getting a few more of these so there are scritching stations in every paddock.

This is larger than I expected! It shows dimensions but who really measures things like this out. The bristles seem a little rough but I’m sure it’s better than the fence and wiring that our donkey keeps scratching his face on. The brush is flexible which is good if you're mounting onto a tree or poll. Good purchase if you have farm animals!
