This product simply does not work. The rack is an inappropriate design with only one point support for a surfboard which makes it very likely to shift back and forth while riding the bike. My surfboard is constantly hitting the back tire, causing black rubber markings on the board which are very hard to remove. I have tried using Loctite on the screws and adjusting the rack but it does not work. Furthermore, the rubber pad between the two support pieces has already corroded. If I could return the product, I would. And I’d counsel everyone to buy a different product since this surf bike rack simply does not work will lead you to endless frustration.

Nice but crank down those bolts. There are easier systems for more money. Worked for me on beach at Jalama. Like I said, get those bolts tight and it will work fine.

I've noticed that there are a few different styles of bicycle surf racks out there. This one is designed to completely mount right onto the seat post. While this design is pretty neat, I've also come across other styles that attach to various points on the bike – some to the front, maybe the seat post, or even the rack which would prevent shifting of the board. It seems that no matter how tightly I tried to secure the jaw to the seat post, my surfboard just wouldn't stay put. As I went on my bike rides, I found the board gradually rotating outward, which isn't exactly ideal.I think it would be a great improvement if they included some kind of rubber/plastic spacer or even made the jaw's diameter a bit smaller. This would allow for a tighter and more secure fit onto the seat post. As it stands, I might have to get creative and use a bicycle tube or something similar to get that extra grip I'm looking for.Despite this minor setback, I have to say that the rack itself is pretty impressive. It's lightweight yet protective, and it suits shorter to transition-sized surfboards really well. One thing to keep in mind, though, is that you'll need to provide your own bungee cords to effectively fasten the board to the rack. All in all, with a few tweaks to enhance its grip on the seat post, this rack would be an absolute winner. It's already a solid choice for smaller surfboards, and once those adjustments are made, it'll be a top-tier option for any rider looking to catch some waves with their trusty bicycle.

This is a solid surfboard rack for your bike. Materials and workmanship is great. Fairly simple to install just a bit of tightening with the Allen bolts. Simple
