A thermal electric fridge uses ceramic cooler tile(s) and not a compressor. My wine fridge top shelf called for a TEC1 12705 and this part fixed my problem. Fridge is working again.

I have a Cuisinart wine cooler purchased from a garage sale that hasnt worked in over three years. On a whim, I decided to look at it very closely before recycling it. Because it didnt cool, I had nothing to lose but was not about to buy another one.. not yet! I found a wire had detached from the chip requiring its replacement. For the price, some online research, and a little patience I replaced the chip. It works again! The ambient temperature started at 71° and in about two hours it had cooled inside to the 50° setting. Repair! Don’t replace.

It would be nice if it came with which side is which. I put it on like the other one writing side to the same side and it was cooling not heating
