EASY TO USE
INSTRUCTIONS
• Identify a suitable connection point for the oil pressure gauge. Some engines are equipped with a blanking plug
on the main engine oil gallery.
• In most cases removal of the oil pressure switch is required.
• Select and fit the appropriate threaded adaptor to the engine.
• Connect the hose quick connector either directly to the adaptor or, where access requires it, via the 90˚ angle connector.
• Start or crank the engine.
Bleed any air from the pressure hose via the thumb operated bleed valve.
NB: Have a suitable cloth available to soak up the small amount of oil that may spill from the bleed valve while bleeding the hose.
• Release the bleed valve and the live oil pressure reading should be seen on the gauge while the engine is being cranked or run.

all fittings are metal AND QUICK CONNECT! I rings came in place on all fittings with an extra set. the quick connect is going to really help me out. for what I paid for this kit, this is an excellent buy. highly recommended.

I bought this to check key on and running pressure on a 2014 6.2L chevy. Had to provide analog pressures for an engine warranty. The kit didn't have fitting for this engine, so i can only assume this is aimed at Asia or Europe. If you work with American cars you may want to steer clear. ran down to harbor freight and was able to get by just fine with theirs.
