I am not using this for its intended purpose, I am using this as a replacement spring on a FANATEC V3 throttle pedal. This has minimum 3-4x the weight load (resistance) compared to the strongest black coil spring included in the V3 box. If you have a heavy foot or don't find the stock Throttle has enough resistance, this will help build a throttle curve that's more responsive but less likely to lose as much traction or spin as the throttle application is a lot stronger. If you don't have leg muscles you will find this to be too stiff for you, but the spring does work in over time.For those that do get it, I am a strong dude and even this will lift my foot from max by a few mm and I won't notice (it's a strong spring!) The easy way to correct this is by setting your max throttle throw in Fanalabs down by 2-5mm. You will max out throttle a tad sooner but won't lose any throttle if your foot is being pushed back a tad. Don't get me wrong this is not going to push your foot all the way back, but just a tad, meaning it DOES require more pressure to keep the throttle 100% engaged.Install:I just slide the spring over the throttle bar, does not use the spring sleeves provided by Fanatec.As far as 3d printer tray balance/levelling spring, it probably works great, but cannot specifically comment.
