I'll admit it: I'm an older guy, not as strong as I was, and even with tricks shown on, say, YouTube, it's gotten to be tough for me to snap together sections of Loc-Line, especially ones around the 3/4" or bigger size. These pliers make the task quick and easy. However, if you don't need to do the assembly/disassembly often (I don't, just needed to adjust a Loc-Line section for one item) buying these pliers is what you might call an expensive, but otherwise very good, solution to a problem.

Arthritis makes it hard to assemble and take apart Loc Line as much as I appreciate it. This helps quite a bit.

LocLine, by its very nature, is bendable and once you have a few sections connected its difficult to use the force needed to continue pressing them together. This thing saves a lot of time and frustration (and broken double sockets). Its not as great with the Y connectors because of their odd shape but with some fiddling it still gets the job done. Overall, I'm still glad I got it. It made my project go a lot more smoothly. Thanks.

This pliers works good if all you want to do is connect Loc-Line hose segments. If you want to attach a Y-adapter or other fitting then forget about it; it's useless. Also doesn't separate pieces which I already knew.Much better solution..... Place socket end of piece you want to connect in near boiling water for 30 sec. Will slip right on when warm. Just don't burn your fingers!!!!

This tool is a must if you're going to assemble the hose and components.

For this size loc line, it's really hard to attach the pieces together, especially if they're terminal pieces. A bit pricey but worth it if you value your fingers.
