The pickups sound great i put them in a chesp guitar body that i had to put pieces back together and it sounds great thru my halfstack lots of distortion kinda gives it a les paul sound its my favorite guitar for the sound and i have 11 guitars ,its the one i play the most maybe i got lucky but i ordered another one

Pretty awful sound but about what you'd expect for the price. I needed the pick guard which is decent and the combination of that plus electronics make it a good deal but you're going to want to swap out the pickups to something less muddy sounding

Sounds great,put in a squire bullet.Hand to drill new holes and put in a small block of wood to get one screw to grip..The neck humbucker swivels had to put in other springs... Not a bad pickguard but I wouldn't get another one....

Two of the three pots on the wiring harness that I received were totally fried. Wired it up for the first time and went to turn the volume up and got nothing but a really awful hissing sound.Originally thought it was a cold solder joint, but I rewired the whole thing from scratch using just the pots and still had the same issue with the nonfunctional volume pot and came to realize that the upper tone pot wasn't working either. Thankfully I hadn't soldered everything back together yet, so I know it wasn't my soldering that fried the pots.I'll give it to them that its a nice pick guard and the pickups are good, but whoever soldered mine got the pots too hot. I've ordered replacements and will be putting them in at the end of the month when they arrive, but this puts my latest build way off the rails.
