The tank itself is built good, nice welds, no leaks.First thing when I got the tank, the cap handle was hanging up and not fully rotating to the closed position. I found that the roll pin that holds the handle on had come out and was interfering with the lid assembly. The pin could be easily slid in/out and I had to glue it in place. ( That could ruin a race if you couldn't get the cap opened or closed because you couldn't operate the handle.)I'm not a huge fan of the plasticlid assembly, but it's functional. There is a piece of foam inside the tank, but it's not large enough to be a tight fit.If it's anti-slosh foam, it would just slosh around with the fuel. There is about a1 inch to 3 inch gap around all4 sides. Also I don't know if it's ethanol/methanol safe, I won't be using it.The gauge only goes about half to 2/3 of way down the tank, (so when the guage reads empty you would probably still have 1/3 of a tank of fuel.) Full would be a full tank, but Empty wouldn't be empty. I probably will not use a furl guage. The bungs are 10AN, so you will most likely need adapters on all of them. Add that into the cost factor, AN adapters can cost $10 to $20 Each. It would be better if they were in 6AN for gokart or mini racer anyways. It's a OK tank, but may not be ideal for every user.I Hope My Review And Pictures Were Helpful To You !!
