Does what it needs to, and for the most part, securely mounts cameras with all the necessary hardware. But the build quality is lower compared to other mounts I have used in the past. For instance, the pivot head collar is plastic and doesn't fully lock the camera into place in instances where it might be bumped into. Any overtightening and it would cause it to crack. For more temporary use, these seem fine.
