Great adapter with long range. Plug and play on windows. Does the job, connects to devices well within a room and even out to approximately 100 feet (down a long hallway and almost into another room in the office I am in). 100 percent would buy again!

I rarely write reviews but I feel like I owe it to company who makes these. It worked like a charm. It's as simple as a plug and play with no extra set up or downloads. Also, the range is pretty decent on it as well. Highly recommend if someone is looking for a Bluetooth connector

(Windows 10 pro) my older cheap Bluetooth earplugs no longer work, two pairs of them that are different brands. There is difficulty in uninstalling those devices that won't work anymore through device manager, in order to try reinstalling them to reinstall their drivers, which Windows Update says are the best already. They are shown as still there and still paired but unable to connect and unable to remove. This appears to be a problem between Windows operating system and the device drivers. Everything worked fine till a Windows Update, shortly after installing this, that appeared maybe to be triggered by its installation. And.. the update won't uninstall. My headphones work great though, up to around fifty feet outside the house and through forest, which approaches 100 feet from this antenna. It is just stuck in back of the computer without an extension to raise it up toward the ceiling. The signal is very strong. It seems to receive farther as well as transmit farther, because I can use the pause button on the headphones from as far away as I can get good signal. Didn't expect that.

Before this bluetooth adapter I was using the built-in bluetooth for my desktop, and could only go about 20-30 feet before my headset would start to drop. Since switching to the Techkey USB Bluetooth 5.4 Adapter I no longer have any issues with connectivity.If you are looking to increase signal strength for bluetooth I highly recommend this device.

Works great! I upgraded my keyboard to a Bluetooth wireless gaming keyboard and my old Bluetooth dongle would pair with it but it just wouldn't work. This one works great though. i’m now running that and a Bluetooth mouse as well.One reason I went with this model is that it has a removable antenna instead of a fixed or swivel one. I like that the antenna can be removed or replaced if broken.No complaints. It's working great.

The Bluetooth adapter in question comes with instructions for downloading its driver that are unlike any I've encountered before. I've been using Windows computers for work and for play since the mid-1980s and have downloaded hundreds of programs, drivers, and related files.Although downloading and activating files is not an unfamiliar exercise, the process has never before been as surreal and frustrating. Following the download instructions for this driver required going to Dropbox (why Dropbox?) but (although Dropbox is already installed on my computer) the driver never got there. Instead the file wandered to some truly odd places on my machine. It somehow landed (among other locations) in VLC Media Player (I didn't put it there, honest!), which attempted to open it, and kept opening it futilely until I closed down VLC.Then, with some effort, I got the file into my Downloads directory where, I thought, double-clicking on it would open and activate it. Double-clicking on it did nothing. Everything else I tried did nothing as well, although everything else took up a good deal of time. This review is taking up a good deal of time (and space) as well, even if it's not shedding much light on the gizmo under review.Might have been nice if there'd been a tech-support phone number provided. Might even have allowed someone to guide me through a successful download and implementation. But there was no phone number and no success. I have filed for a refund and will be returning the whole mess.

Plug and play mean just that, push the dongle into a free USB socket (win 10 PC/ laptop in my case). It will see that a new device has been plugged into a USB socket and is automatically installed. then go to settings/ Devices and click on Bluetooth to toggle the adapter to on, then select add device then Bluetooth.This will start the adapter looking for compatible devices to add/ pair/ connect with. To find your headphones say or a game controller the details on how to make it go into discoverable/connect/pair will be included in the user manual for that item (usually confirmed by the alternate flashing of red and blue LED on headphones say, but, it will vary from one device/ maker to another). The pc will advise you of all the Bluetooth devices it can "see" click on what device you want to connect to and follow on-screen messages to pair and connect to it. It really is that simple to use and set up. If you have any problems with the dongle it comes with a mini-CD that contains useful information and drivers etc open cd drawer and pop it in and close the drive door. The actual dongle is quite small and is hardly noticeable and does not stick out far from the USB socket so much less likely to get caught or snagged on sleeves etc

El producto es de buena calidad. Cuando introducimos el dispositivo en un puerto USB, el sistema Windows 10 instalará automáticamente los controladores que lleva incorporados. Una vez hecho esto, debemos instalar los controladores del fabricante. Al finalizar de instalarlos notaremos, como he leído en algunos comentarios, que el sonido a veces se corta. Para evitarlo, iremos al "administrador de dispositivos" > "Bluetooth" > "Realtek Bluetooth 5.0 Adapter" y, pulsando en el botón derecho del ratón, elegiremos la opción de "actualizar controlador". Nos instalará una versión del mes de Abril de este año y, aunque en ocasiones si nos movemos el sonido se entrecortará un poco, funcionará perfectamente. Recomiendo su compra por la buena relación calidad-precio que tiene.

j'ai acheté cette clé pour mettre le Bluetooth sur mon pc HP Compact Elite 8300 , je l'ai reçu très bien emballé , au déballage outre la clé on trouve une notice multilingues et notamment en français , un cd rom d'installation du pilote.la notice nous explique la procédure à suivre et l'installation s'avère très simple , Windows 10 reconnait immédiatement la clé dès son introduction dans le port usb et le cd rom permet l'ajout du pilote complémentaire , mon galaxy S9 s'est connecter sans problème ainsi que l'application "mon téléphone " bon produit je le recommande

Ich habe mir den Adapter gekauft, um meine neue Tastatur über Bluetooth zu benutzen. Die Installationsschritte sind gut beschrieben und die Installation funktionierte (auch auf meinem älteren PC mit Windows 8) tadellos. Mittlerweile ist nicht nur eine kleine CD mit dem Treiber, sondern auch ein hochwertiger kleiner USB-Stick, auf dem die Installationsdateien sind, dabei. Somit stellt die Installation auch ohne CD-Laufwerk kein Problem dar.Die Bluetooth Verbindung ist stabil und ich konnte keinerlei Verzögerungen oder Ähnliches feststellen.Da ich das Produkt erst seit kurzer Zeit verwende, kann ich keine Aussagen zur Haltbarkeit/Langlebigkeit treffen.

Il prodotto è arrivato in anticipo rispetto alla data fissata. Inizialmente, l'unità dvd del mio pc non riusciva a leggere il mini cd fornito dal produttore e purtroppo i driver forniti da windows 10, come dichiarato nelle descrizioni, non funzionano. Ho provato a cercare i driver sul web ma senza successo; comunque prima di attivare il "reso" ho scritto alla TechKey per richiedere un link da cui scaricare i driver necessari all'installazione. Con mia sorpresa, l' Azienda ha risposto alle 5,16 di questa mattina fornendomi quanto richiesto. A questo punto l'installazione è stata facilissima ed il prodotto ha immediatamente riconosciuto le mie cuffiette bluetooth e funziona perfettamente. Sono convinto che le 5 stelle del giudizio siano state ampiamente meritate.
