For a rock crawler. I had the 15" version of this wheel, served me well but needed to have the smaller 13" to keep my hands safe from outside rock croppings coming into the interior and grabbing my hands.Good steering wheels are meant to deform and collapse somewhat on heavy impact. Some reviewer complained about it bending upon impact or crash, that person may not understand, if it didn't bend they could have had broken arms or wrist etc. I don't know if the company built this into the design or just for the lightweight but I have seen them bend on the trail on hard endos coming down waterfalls. That death grip on the wheel just had a built-in shock absorber that could saved serious injury. Only thing I wish Longacre would do is take the sharp edges off the aluminum.
