About this item

  • 【90% Pre-Assembled, Stable Triangular Structure】The upgraded Longer LK5 Pro 3d Large Scale Printer is 90% pre-assembled with a maximum build size of 11.8" * 11.8" * 15.7". Coupled with the reinforced design of the inclined rod, a stable triangular structure is formed, which effectively reduces vibration and achieves more stable printing.
  • 【Resume printing function】LONGER's upgraded LK5 Pro 3D printer can resume printing from the last recorded extruder position in the event of an unexpected power outage or after running out of consumables. Plus, the sensor pauses printing and alerts you when supplies run out, saving you time and waste.
  • 【Upgraded Dual Blower Kit】LK5 Pro upgraded 3D printer is equipped with a dual blower kit, which allows the extruded filaments to cool and shape quickly, giving you better print quality.
  • 【Low Noise & Lattice Glass Platform】Using the TMC2208 chip driver on the x, y, and z-axis, printing is very quiet. This reduces the noise during printing and makes the stepper motor more stable. The LK5 Pro 3D printer is also equipped with a silicon carbide glass platform with a microporous structure that provides stronger adhesion during printing, allowing models to be removed intact after completion.
  • 【Provide more functions】Silent open-source LK5 Pro motherboard, you can try your whimsy on LK5 Pro by changing the G code. Auto-leveling can be used using the BL Touch (BL Touch is not included in the package) and its 32-bit motherboard. The LK5 Pro 3-d printer also features a heat-resistant feed tube made of Teflon, allowing the filament to be fed at higher temperatures, reducing clogging and downtime.

A total novice at 3D printing, I find the Longer LK5 Pro a good learning platform. It is easy to assemble and very versatile. Customer support is excellent. I had a small problem with my printer and received help in one day. Problem was resolved and back to printing. Only negative comment, is that I felt the documentation could be a bit stronger for newbies like myself. Lots of information on line so not a big problem, but found it a bit intimidating at first. Highly recommend the Longer brand to begin your 3D experience.

I got it and had a problem with a bracket. They quickly swapped it out amazingly fast. I had great prints, but wanted to add a BLtouch…. Why not. Works even better! Bed leveling was a lot easier than other printers I have had (this is my 6th). With the BLtouch, it takes no time at all. For the price and build size, you can’t beat it!

My 14 year old son worked all summer to buy this 3D printer. It worked AMAZING from September 2023 until the day after Christmas. Something was wrong with the heating bed and wouldn’t print without that function working. So we contacted the company to find out what replacement part to buy. Nope, they just sent him the part. Unfortunately that wasn’t the problem. So they sent my son a new 3D printer!! I could hardly believe it. I was so sad for my son that he worked so hard and spent his own money and his printer stopped working. I was blown away by the customer service. Please keep in mind that customer service is in China so your reply won’t be instant, but they ALWAYS reply. They even replied to my thank you email that I sent 😂. My son loves this printer and loves bringing his creations to life. My son says this is a great beginner printer and makes quality prints.

The cost of it is good. The print volume is very nice. It's quite, so I can have it upstairs in the living room. I'm a little sad that only the Cura slicer has the profile, as I prefer the Prusa slicer better. I'm getting used to Cura. ;) This is my 3rd printer. The first was a Bibo, and it's still in use. The 2nd was the Ender 7, and I hated it. I did have to contact support for the filament sensor. They responded quickly, and I was back up and running quickly. Extra nice that they send an extra. One tip, since it's not self leveling is get a level meter. It take less than a minute to get the bed to the sweet spot. The glass on this printer is really nice, but I purchased a magnetic print sheet instead and love it. You need to move the safety switch on the side just a little so the nozzle is kept safe. Easy since you have to put it in place during the last 10% of assembly. :)Update: I'm not reducing the stars, because this doesn't bother me much since I work from home and always walking past my printer. The sensor is not great. They last about a week. It's a wear issue. The printer came with two sensors. Both of mine are worn, so I left one installed and the other is plugged in with tape over the switch, just chillin' in easy reach. I watch my prints closely. So when I'm at an acceptable stop point for the filament I just take the tape off. It's not ideal, but it works for me. I'm even getting ready to purchase a second print because I like the print qualify and quite functionality.

This printer does great at consistent work. Once the table is level just keep printing.

I normally don't write reviews, but this printer has been such an unmitigated disaster I feel I should, to warn people. It won't print, it won't level. no matter what you do. Belt tension? Check. Roller tension? Check. Spring tension? Check Dry filament? Check. Clean plate? Check. Replaced the nozzle? Check. Everything is to tension and spec, yet no matter how many hours you want to fiddle with it it WILL NOT level, even with silicone spacers. The edges will level just fine, but the center is always too close, always. Got another glass plate just in case there was a bulge in the middle. Did that work? Nope. Are any rollers loose or is the print head support bar loose? Nope, still won't level. Out of the roughly 20 different stl's I've attempted to print out of PLA, PLA+, or PETG, exactly 3 have worked, and that was probably dumb luck. It will adhere the first few layers before you can physically HEAR the print nozzle chunking over the previous layer. Mostly it will start spitting filament, or it will knock the design off a heated plate, or it will skew layers. It will do anything except print a design. This is by far the worst product I've ever purchased in the 50 years I've been on this planet. Goodbye $500.

Printer arrived with loose belts, loose extruders, springs tightened too tightly, no free movement on the rollers. I’ve had to spend about 15+ hours troubleshooting and wasting filament on this printer because it has absolutely ZERO QA. I’ve had so many problems with this printer left and right. I’ve had it for a month and a half and I have already had to replace a screw that wouldn’t come loose so my extruder couldn’t flow properly. I’ve had to tighten belts and tension bars numerous times. I’ve had to relevel basically after every print. I’ve had the filament sensor erode itself to the point it kept cutting my prints off because it thinks it’s out of filament when really the plastic in the sensor is just worn down and broken because they use cheap parts.LUCKILY I have an IT background and really helpful friends. But I wouldn’t recommend this printer to anyone especially people new to 3D printing

Printer arrived and assembled as per instructions, no issue.Went to level the bed preparing for first print and noticed the Y axis carrier play in it resulting in the bed being able to wobble by about 5mm at its edges. I disassembled and check the fixings and found it assembled incorrectly from the factory with. It was an easy fix by adding a washer.I assembled everything again and went back to leveling. Went to preheat the bed for leveling and noticed the hotend reading a temp of -15 degrees, thinking that a little odd, I tried to heat the hotend... "Error must restart printer". From experience the only time I have seen -ve temps is when the sensor has been disconnected so I opened up the cover and the plug for the hot end wasn't even plugged in!! That being said, now that it is together and working, it is very quiet and the print quality is very good.

There are alot of stuff I buy and most no matter how gr8 become everyday and mundane, I can honestly say buy the longer Lk4 pro is the best purchase I've made in a decade and till this moment in my life the best purchase of my life so far. The machine is amazing and I say machine because it's so much more than a printer, I'd recently got a small sub £100 printer that got me really into 3d printing and I wanted more (as it was a 10by10cm bed. From my first experience I didn't want to go through working out bugs and setting before my printer gave a decent print, I did my research as much as possible learnt a lot on the way and still learning but Lovin it. As a newbie in printing there are some names that come up alot when talking 3d printing but on utube and I suppose the UK 2 my knowledge longer isn't the first or second name you hear... So I took a chance (or so I thought) on longer because of the specs and what they offer and 90% assembled believe me if like me you don't know anything about 3d printers you will definitely appreciate it.. Trust. So I got a Longer, assembly you tube video very easy, turned it on and wow it worked, all the lights were on I went through the setup all good went to print and.. No way nothing and naturally I thought I'd done something wrong, so straight on to the facebook page. This is the only negative I have to say about the company not even the machine the sd card was bad or not something I had to copy it to my comp then load it back on and it worked (why would you send unformated sd wt machine?) I'm not a techy so that was my only gripe, fb group quickly put me on the right track. So pretty much straight out of the box the prints are amazing as far as bed Is leveled and all instructions followed, I then tried my hand at slicing a file from thingyvrs to print. Again my computer didn't recognise the printer... Of course I didn't know that and was like what now! Because wt machines your not sure if it's you or the machine messing up. I used to assume it was me but after my first experience I had more trust in myself, I emailed support and likity split I had a code and an instruction vid. 10 mins later (probably way less) I was up and running on cura my prints have been gr8 straight out the box. Sorry 4 the length of the review but wanting to make an informed choice on a 3d printer I want to give you an unbiest opinion of my experience, the reason I say it's more than a printer is because of what alot of people are finding out is the longer standard and compared to the other names you hear Longer really are excellent the support is impeccable (I know coz they deal with me) and the fb community is amazing of course coz we can boast we've got a Longer it's a whole package. And the machine is amazing I've had mine for a week and a bit and performing spectacularly, the only mod I've need to do was the spool holder wasn't affecting my prints just wasn't smooth . If you're considering buying a 3d printer weather its your first or not but more so if it is do yourself a favour buy the longer Lk4 pro it's definitely worth it.... And you can thank me later 👍
