This is a good part that directly replaces Bosch part from original manufacturer. Only reason I am giving it 3 star is that the price is pretty expensive.

just as good as the original . but not as good as when made in usa years ago .this is 11yr old microwave . 4th time I replace a micro switch

My LG microwave over was turning on when I open the door. Googled around and found that it is likely an issue with the interlock switches. Watched a few videos and decided to purchase the two types of switches that the mircrowave uses. It was an easy job to change the switches, and the microwave is now working without any problem. If I had called in a technician, it would have cost me at least $100, but this simple repair cost me just over $15 after tax.

Background information, main circuit fuse (20A 125V) will blow if any of the three door sensing switch is bad.There are two normal-open "red" switch and one normal-close "green" switch in most microwave design.Easy to replace on GE microwave.

I called a service repair, and they replaced a micro switch, but I did not know that's what they did. but after looking around on the internet I figured out what they did, only problem was the repair did not last long, so I had to replace it, by the way I paid $350 for the repair. I bought these on amazon for a lot less and installed myself. So, the cost of switch the $8 or $9 dollars I spend was the total cost of the repair. Now just a history of my Jenn Air microwave was that when you close the door and hit start It would not start working however the display would show a countdown but no heating, sometimes I could giggle the door and it would start heating, that's when I figured out it was the micro-switch that would let the microwave know the door was shut.

This was a great value for the money. Installing the switches is tricky. You must twist and insert the pin on the bracket. Then it pops into place. I practiced on my old bracket that I had to replace, until I could do it, without breaking plastic off the bracket. I am so happy that I don't have to junk a $1200 Advantium microwave because of a simple switch. It was an exact fit.

Perfect fit. Easy to install once I got into the bowels of the unit. I only needed one but could only find a 2 pack. Hard to complain though since they were so inexpensive. Saved me hundred of dollars not having to purchase an entire new microwave.
