Worth every dime! So much more heat from our insert now, can't get over the difference. The supplied temp switch location is no bueno. Use the part number on the switch and type it into Amazon search. Anew one is cheap and has a nice long plug in harness. I located the sensor to the lower left front corner of thestzove wall. Results...perfect. No fan operation until the fire is well lit and stays on much longer than the factory location. It's a game changer and the main complaint of purchasers. Easy fix, just unplug the fan from wall plug before you remove the sensor connector.

Opened it after it was delivered. Packaging was nice and no damage in shipping. However, we pulled it out and there was a dent in the side and plugged it in….nothing. Tried other outlets to make sure it wasn’t the outlet…nothing. Packaged it back up to return within the first 10 mins of opening it. VERY disappointed as our wood burning stove is our only source of heat here in Kansas and our original blower went out in right at the start of the -5 degree weather and because we waiting a week for this to get here and then it didn’t work when we got it, it was a very cold couple of weeks. Very disappointed.

This works well. The knob has a little bit of play in it which makes me question long-term durability but hasn't been an issue yet. I wish it would turn on a little bit more quickly though - my stove has to hit over 500 degrees for this to kick on. Once the fan turns on, this does a great job distributing the warm air and heats our living room up nearly instantly.

Bought this for my Lopi Revere that we'd be constantly adding lots of wood to in an ineffective attempt to heat the whole house. This unit was simple to install -- the holes for the screws lined up perfectly on my stove. It took a little while for the unit to first turn on and I'll admit I was getting a little nervous as the stove heated up. But once it gets to its sweet spot, it turns right on and starts putting out lots of heat. The blower pulls air from below the unit into the walls of the stove, then blows the hot air out the top of the stove. On high it is a bit loud, but medium is quite tolerable and low is barely noticeable. We now are able to hear the heat the entire house with the stove (sometimes too much!), including the bedrooms by using a small fan that we connected near the ceiling to pull air from the living room. At night we throw a couple logs in and the blower, which turns back off when the stove cools back down, keeps blowing most of the night. I leave the blower on pretty high at night and no longer get up to add wood because if I listen close I can hear that the blower is still on. I'm so happy with this product. My only small gripe would be with aesthetics - I don't like that you can see the white wiring harness through the fan grate... Would be nicer if the the harness was black so it wouldn't be so visible.

It fits our Lopi Revere wood stove insert. Super easy to install. I did have to widen the mounting screw holes I tiny smidge but that just made it more stable. I missed having a blower so much. Love it.PS. It has a temperature sensor and does not turn on until it reaches a certain temperature so don’t be alarmed if it doesn’t turn on right away. I tested it before I installed it by using a hairdryer on the sensor.Definitely a good product!

FOR THE MONEY YOU PAY. Then you have to fight to drill out one of the hole in order to mount it is ridiculous. I AM NOT THE FIRST TO COMPLAIN about this. So why has it not been fixed.BUT after an hour of fighting to get the hole drilled out and mounted the blower does do good.As previously reviewed it does have a thermostat on the back so it does have to warm up in order for it to kick on. It is a little noisy but less noisy than the box fan.

While on the pricey side the blower does work well on my Lopi Answer wood stove. I took one star off because install turned out to be a PIA. The mounting slots on the blower were way to small for the mounting bolts on the stove. I had to hold the blower in place, mark it and drill larger holes to finally get it mounted. What should have been a 5-minute job turned into about an hour because of this. The blower also hangs down a little below the vent on the stove and some of the air simply blows under the stove and not thru the vent. I remedied this by placing strips of dryer heat tape between the stove and blower which forces all the air into the stove vent. While the unit is on the pricey side, it does make a difference and blows a noticeable amount of hot air from the stove. It also seems to be of a decent build quality. On high the fans are pretty loud and they can be heard in adjoining rooms, but at the same time it does blow out a decent bit of air from the stove.***UPDATE*** After about a months use I decided to update and add a star. This blower is working way better than I hoped for. I did noticed that on the back/ bottom of my Answer stove, there was a considerable amount of air escaping from the vent due to the area a rear blower is supposed to mount. Like the front, I used some aluminum heat tape and covered the holes and the difference in the hot air coming out the front increased by about 50%. I usually burn the wood stove in the evenings, which is located in the main portion of the house. I will let the immediate area warm up to around 72 degrees and stop feeding it wood for the night. One thing I noticed is with the blower it obviously heats up the area about an hour faster than without the blower on and I am even using less would to heat the same area. The manufacturer claims that the blower makes the heating device about 80% more efficient, which in my case I have to agree with. I put off buying a blower fan for my stove for years because of the cost, I now regret not buying this blower sooner. Also, I noticed several bad reviews about the blower not working out of the box. As another reviewer said, it will only turn on once it reaches operating temperature, and if you just remove it from the box and plug it in it won't come on, it has to be hot.
