The Cable Mounting Holes don't look too big to me, as one review stated.I have not used it yet, but the price was too good to wait until the last minute.Holley Carburetors only, unless you want to rework a few things for a Q-Jet (I think it can be done). Amazon does sell one for a Q-jet, the part# 157313 ... Throttle Cable and Kickdown Cable Bracket for Edelbrock, AVS and All Quadrajet-style Carburetors, 700-R4, and 200-4R CablesThis one I'm reviewing is a very nice H.D. bracket compact in my opinion.

Had to cut the tab off and weld it on the right side of the bracket to fit my Edlebrock 1405 but seems to be a good fit now.

The description states it comes with a long carb stud. It doesn’t. It’s just the bracket.

This Item showed up on time, and it worked just like it should. I used it on my 1929 Chevy, it has a LS 454 with a 700r4 transmission.

Throttle cable square is too big, had to be modified for that to work and the kickdown cable square needs to be moved back about 2 to 2.5. Needless to say I just threw it in the scrap bin and ordered one that would work.

Had to grind the little tab to properly fit into carb base lock slot.
