Update: I want to update my review from one star to 5. Lost Horizon is simply sending me a new pad, no questions asked. Very uncomplicated process through messaging. For such an expensive pad that I bought last camping season this is very nice and I am happy and relieved that I will be sleeping on a cloud once again! Thank you Lost Horizon!Just started inflating this for the second camping trip since I bought it. It WAS truly the perfect camping mat for a tender sleeper, as good as my latex mattress at home. Sadly, when I started to reinflate it a large bubble appeared in the sleeping surface that makes it impossible to use. The bubble is hard like a volleyball- and takes on all the inflated air. Phooey.

Game changer for camping! This is a little too long for 21’ Toyota 4Runner but I deflate a bit and make it work. Wow great nights rest for sure. I am a side sleeper and have no issues. The more you inflate and deflate …the process gets easier. I’ve used it on the ground in a tent, on top of an air mattress and mostly in my car.

This is my second purchase of these awesome pads. Far superior to “ordinary” air mattresses, the foam filler keeps them evenly inflated so you don’t get low spots and your body heat is preserved so cold ground and air doesn’t chill you. I am amazed at how comfortable these are. Just a wonderful product. So easy to inflate and deflate too. Sturdy, no lingering “new” odor, nice color, I adore mine. Get one!

The company got off to a bad start - promising 2 day delivery and taking three weeks. I was skeptical in my expectations for the product, but it seems to be well made of quality materials and it is very comfortable. I own five self inflating mattresses by the United States company that invented this type of mattress. I did not buy their product this time because their customer service has disappeared after a change in ownership. Back to the subject: this mattress is very slow to self inflate, but the pump bag it comes with takes care of that. It is almost impossible to deflate and roll back up. The pump is really not optional, it is essential for deflation. Buy it with the mattress. I bought it later for twice as much. The pump also has a nice built in light, and a hanging loop. It can be used as a battery bank for charging phones. This company seems to be designing good products.

I'm so pleasantly surprised by the comfort and ease of setup. I am only 5'2", but I went with the cot size (75"x25"). I have plenty of room to stretch out, and it is so quiet when moving around on it. The air valve design is simplistic, but works very well. It was easy to adjust the firmness level Using the bag to inflate the pad was very easy because of the large capacity. The only thing I'm not thrilled about is the effort it takes to roll back up. However, the carry bag is oversized, so it doesn't have to be perfectly compressed. The comfort will be worth it.

Very easy to inflate during setup and put away. I sleep on mine for car camping regularly. The bag works well as a pump assist. Very good value for the cost. Highly recommend

Inflates easily and is great for the car camper, bag it comes in can be used to inflate it just that little bit extra, the only thing that looses a star is it is not very easy to roll back up it takes a bit of hand strength to keep the roll small enough to get it back into the bag, other than that I highly recommend.

The mattress is great and the self-inflating function works reasonably well, but to deflate it to a size you can fit in the bag you need the pump, which is terrible. I ordered two mattresses, the first one, the pump worked only long enough to inflate the mattress and then stopped working. The second pump was dead on arrival. Both pumps seem to have the same problem, when you connect it to a charger the red light switches on indicating is charging but it never actually charges. I tried four different cables and 3 different chargers of different watt capacity to no avail. I e-mailed LostHorizon’s customer service and after sending them a copy of the invoice they are sending me two new pumps by FedEx.
