We have used these as gifts for Sunday School teachers. They are affordable and unique and have the feel of being authentic from biblical times. We bought them in the 3 pack and in the 15. Delivery was quick, items were well wrapped and no breakage.

They are beautiful. We bought these as a gift, so I can't speak to how durable they are or if you can actually light them. But they look really nice anyway

CAUTION: FIRE HAZARD ALERT: FOR DISPLAY ONLY - NO FLAME: The clay seemed porous as a funnel was used to put 2 tablespoons of oil into the lamp. The wick was lite. Within 5 minutes 3 of the 6 pots had oil leaking onto the mirror. The fire moved from the wick to the inside of the lamp and them around the bottom of the lamp. The heat of the fire cracked the mirror and the oil spilled onto the tablecloth. We were using these at 3 Stations of the Cross. Luckily, quick thinking to move the lamp with metal tongs into a metal bowl, cover it with a pot lid and take it outside prevented a building fire as the oil leaked from 3 of the 6 pots. PLEASE do not light these pots. We had trained firefighters at these stations. If someone had tried to blow the flame out or get water or had panicked and done nothing the oil flame would have quickly moved from the Ancient Antique Biblical Replicat Lamps to the tablecloth, table and beyond. SCARY.

after awhile the oil leaked through. worked as a prop for our play - only wouldn't light it because the oil got all over everything.
