Transparent, not breathable, almost plastic fabrics. Perfect for misty rainy weather when biking and hiking!

This would have been fine in theory for seasonal commuting in California: lightweight, thin, breathable (big mesh sections under the arms). However, the plastic 'fabric' ripped at the velcro seams on the third use. I am trying to salvage it with duct tape.

This jacket is what I was looking for - something 100% waterproof to keep me dry as I bike to work on rainy days. I wear it over my regular coat, and it keeps the water out. The jacket is long enough that it also covers my rear as I bike. The velcro closures make it easy to do up, but I do feel a bit like I am wearing a large vinyl bag, it's a bit bulky.

I bought this item for myself thinking that it'd fit a little bit bigger since it was a men's size but it'd be fine. It was way too big on me so I figured I would give it to a guy friend. Still way too big on him.
