The wood is the perfect color. I love that it can also be turned upside down for a smooth charcuterie board.

Overall I liked the product and would recommend it, worth the money. It is visually impressive and holds the eggs well. My only complaint was a couple of the egg holders were slight rough.

Despite making deviled eggs on occasion, I’ve never sprung for a deviled egg plate because it seemed so one use. I’m so glad I bought this, because it serves double duty as a cheese board.

This product has not been sanded at all. Very rigid so makes this very hard to clean for deviled eggs. The back side has been sanded and polished well, but I bought this for deviled eggs and will not use it because of if you can't clean it well it's not worth the risk for food.
