I put it on but there is a small gap all the way around. I tried tapping in it with a rubber mallet but it won't sit flush on the hood.

When I first saw the vent setup, I was intrigued by its design and functionality. However, after installation, I was disappointed to find that the vents looked cheap and plasticky. The once attractive design now appears inferior and unappealing. As a result, I have decided to upgrade the vents next year to ensure a more aesthetically pleasing and satisfactory outcome.
