I bought this lock for two reasons: that it would lock and open with the key and the color. I bought it for the sole reason of attaching it to the Brooklyn Bridge in New York in honor and love for our beloved mutt back home. The lock is shoddy; I could have gotten a far better one from a 25-cent slot machine at the local Walmart. Don't waste your money; you should spend a few more cents and sense on a better one.

The two locks in the box didn't work. They were not locking. There was two springs at the bottom of the shipping package. I had to discount the locks and put back the springs in place with glue at both ends of the spring to keep it in place. I put back the front cover of the lock in place and everything worked after.I do not recommend this product.
