This is my all-time favorite gay-themed movie (and fortunately there have been many in the past few years). It's excellently written, directed and acted, and Nick Robinson (Zach in Jurassic World) as Simon is perfect. It's a feel-good movie for everyone, gay or straight. 20th Century Studios has done a sequel, "Love, Victor," a series which streams on Hulu and picks up just after the end of "Love, Simon," using the actors from "Love, Simon" in cameos. If you don't subscribe to Hulu, this is your reason to do so. "Love, Victor" has run for 2 seasons, and hopefully there will be Season 3 in 2022.

This is one of my favorite films. This is an amazing version. It has hours of special features. It also includes an amazing notebook of Simon and Blue's emails. It has a front cover of a notebook of Simon's and the mascot of Creekwood. This is whimsical and so cool. This is the version to buy if you love Love, Simon.

This is another coming of age story, except this is about a teenager (Simon) being outed by a classmate to the community about being gay. This movie is filmed in a quality unusual for the genre which usually focus' on sex. However, here the focus is on relationships between friends and family. Nick Robinson gives a performance that is effortless (some reviews compare him to a young Matthew Broderick). The whole film, could have followed Simon's storyline. Instead, it involves all the cast members, their own coming of age relationships and friendships and acceptance of his truth by his friends and family.
