Yeah, these are test leads with the wire removed, but, they make pretty decent hackle pliers for fly tying. Also, they are cheap enough, I gave a few out as gifts. But even better than that, they work pretty well for tying the davy knot. Also, another thing, if you use a sewing machine, they work really good to mount or remove the needle. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase.
