I was a bit concerned that it wouldn't fit or work but it's an exact match. What I don't like is the fact it does not state the wattage on the bulb...just has it printed one the box. Time will tell and I'll monitor the water clarity for the next couple days. Just as a note: you can really tell when these bulbs go out...the water turns bad very quick. Let's see how long this takes to make things good again. Anyway, the price was half of the Laguna brand bulb.

Great lights for the fish pond.Purchased two ran first for two weeks, changed out to second to make sure no DOA.Arrived on time, no issue.

Cheaper than the name brand and seems to be keeping alga down in the pond. Good purchase. Arrived in timely manner and was packed well.

This UV bulb is exactly the same as what Laguna sells, but is much cheaper. I was worried about buying something so fragile online, but it came fully nestled in packing peanuts and a cushioned sleeve and arrived in 100% perfect condition.I've only just installed it so I don't know if its lifetime will match the Laguna bulb. Even if it doesn't, buying this cheaper one slightly more often might still turn out to be a better deal than buying Laguna's.And remember: Don't touch the bulb with your bare hands! Like a halogen bulb, getting oils on the glass can make it shatter. Hold it with a paper towel.
