I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 due to the fact that you have to keep putting it back on. Be aware that this kit requires a 1/2” drill and according to the instructions in the box they prefer an air drill. I bought one from HF that was 8500rpm which worked fine.So I had a lug and stud that was just spinning I tried a few things prior to ordering this tool. I worked on and off for at least 8 hrs trying to drill the lug nut off holding the lug nut with needle nose locking pliers. I then ordered this tool it came the next day. It took about 45-60 minutes to complete the job. The biggest problem was that the collar kept having to be adjusted the shaft part would come off of the lug nut. To be honest my lug nuts are recessed in the wheel as most newer cars are.I would recommend this tool if you’re really stuck like I was.

This works wonders when trying to get a lug nut off that will not come off. It is a very easy and fast tool to use.

Used oil to keep bit cooled while drilling and had to keep stopping to sharpen bit

The drill bit only stayed sharp for 4 lug nuts . Not very happy about cost of tool and did not last. Is it possible to just replace bit ?
