No matter how much I torqued down the water still leaked.I was using it with Parker PARFLEX PE1/4" OD X 0.040 WALL tubing.

These compression ferrules are nothing American Made ferrules. These do not hold true 1/4 ID tubing and allow the compression nut to compress before bottoming out. The ones I received look nothing like the photos on the listing.

On 1/4" OD plastic tubing, it felt loose and was not possible to get tight enough to hold. The ID of the sleeve measured 0.258" vs 0.252" for the sleeve that came with a brass compression coupling (Dixon 62C-04). The latter held the plastic tubing
