Just received and looks to be an excellent replacement for the original media (time will tell.) However - I was surprised to find that you don't actually get six sets (both filters - the coarse and the carbon make a replacement set) - but six separate pieces - three coarse and three carbon - making only three actual sets, not six. Just an observation.

These pads have worked so well in our Pondmaster filter boxes. The course white one is intended to catch the majority of the debris and we have found that we can thoroughly spray it out and use it a second time with fine results. We replace the carbon layer (the black one) every time to keep fresh carbon working in the filter.

It took nearly a month to finally arrive and although they are the right dimensions, they are much thinner than the originals.

While the filter media did the job, it is meant to be thrown away after one use. I rinsed the media and put back in only to have it clog within a couple days. The original media that came with the pondmaster filter kit was much denser and rigid. The fibers did not collapse upon themselves. Those original inserts lasted me a full season. I will use out the rest of the inserts and then try something else
